Meet Me On Monday

 

Hello My Lovies,

Welcome to the second edition of Monday Mingle, a question answer game that is now a tradition for every Monday. I just wanted to do a quick shout out to Sus aka ( Susu that’s what I call her now ), it was her idea to start this tradition. And of course Alishia, who came up the the term ” Monday Mingle ”

I hope you guys had a wonderful weekend and now ready to mingle. Today’s theme is ” Food ” and here are the questions:

 

If you were at the gas station and had to choose a healthy snack, which foods would you pick? ( You can name more than one )

If you only had to eat 3 food choices for the rest of your life, what would it be?

When it’s time to indulge what is your number one treat?

If you were on a budget which 5 healthy foods would you buy?

What do you think is the most crazies diet on the market today?

 

Here are my answers:

 

Q – If you were at the gas station and had to choose a healthy snack, which foods would you pick?

My Answer:

Tuna Sandwich or any sandwich but I will take off the bread. If I can find raw Almonds, which lately they’ve been selling at most of the gas stations, I would go with those if not I will get some sunflower seeds. And of course fruit, most gas stations now carry that as well.

 

Q- If you only had to eat 3 food choices for the rest of your life, what would it be?

My Answer:

Steak, watermelon and bananas.  I can totally live without everything else!

 

Q – When it’s time to indulge what is your number one treat?

My Answer:

Gourmet cake with lot’s of homemade frosting. When I see cake I get the same way Winny Pooh gets when he sees honey. I am very serious about my cake :).

 

Q – If you were on a budget which 5 healthy foods would you buy?

My Answer:

 

  • Whole Chicken – it’s cheaper than buying it in pieces.
  • Whole Corn – You can always find great deals on whole corn, the other day I got 10 for 1 dollars. And even if you can’t find deals it’s still quite cheap.
  • Old Fashioned Oats – healthy and delicious when toasted 🙂
  • Cabbage – even organic one is around 3 dollars.
  • Apples – super healthy and unexpensive.

 

Q – What do you think is the most crazies diet on the market today?

My Answer:

 

Hand and Feet and Wings down – the HCG diet.

The reason I picked the picture above is to express how I feel about it. Yep that was my face when I first heard of this diet.

This diet is so crazy that it makes every other diet put together look like a healthy choice. I think it goes something like this: 500 calories a day and hormone shots or drops of some kind, and I am sugar coating it. What really surprised me was that some people are actually trying it and saying it works. Well, anyone eating 500 calories a day is going to lose weight, by starving that is.

My motto is simple – eat healthy, exercise. Why do you think the first 3 letters in a word diet are ” DIE “, that makes perfect sense to me :).
