Tasty Healthy Treat Recipe
Hello my Sweeties,
I hope you are having an amazing Sunday! I made this amazing treat yesterday and wanted to share it with you guys, it’s super easy to make ( for lazy cooks like me 😛 ), and it’s very nutritious.
I also wanted to update you guys on things, Miguel ( the secret camera guy LOL ) is having his vacation from his day job, that’s why we didn’t shoot any videos this week. I wanted to let him take his break completely so he can run free and do what he likes and just relax. I also decided to take a few days off from the internet, even though I did take a little peak here and there to make sure things are running smoothly. We are resuming our regular filming schedule on Thursday, I hope you missed me :).
OK, so here is the recipe I made ( you can also have this as your post workout treat, especially if you don’t take protein powders, cause I don’t:
Ingredients:
- 1 Frozen Mango ( I cut mango into pieces before I freeze it )
- 1 Frozen Banana
- Raw Hemp Seeds – 3 table spoons
- Cinnamon – to taste
Hemp Seeds have been one of my favorite superfoods lately, they have a very nutty delicious taste. Three tablespoons of hemp seeds contain 10 g of complete protein, 50% of your daily phosphorus, 50% of your daily magnesium, 25% of your daily Zinc and 15% of Iron, as well as Omega 3 and Omega 6.
Preparation – super easy as usual
Blend all the ingredients in a blender, but leave 1 table spoon of hempseeds out and place it on top before serving. Or you can just blend mango, banana and cinnamon and mix inn hemp seeds whole, your choice. I love it both ways.
